2022 National Hispanic Heritage Month
By Jacqui Pace

Held annually from September 15 to October 15, National Hispanic Heritage Month celebrates and recognizes the contributions and influences of Hispanic Americans for the United States. Everything from history and culture to achievements of those ancestors who came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, Central American and South America are celebrated and honored during this month.
September 15th, 16th, and 18th are significant days for Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile because their anniversary of independence falls on one of those days.
Every year, National Hispanic Heritage Month has a specific theme to it. This year in 2022, the theme is Unidos: Inclusivity for a Stronger Nation. Patricia Sauceda Kramer, the Principal Strategist at Hispanic Portfolio, stated “Our diversity is our strength, and our contributions to the culture, the economy, and the future of our nation cannot be denied.”
How can your company, your family, your community, and yourself celebrate and honor National Hispanic Heritage Month?
