Justice Bid, a minority-owned technology company, teamed up with Legal Operators to advance diversity in the legal industry. The Operation Empowering Change initiative was designed to enable law departments to skip the data collection and analysis process, and significantly reduce the number of firmwide surveys that law firms have to respond to, allowing both to get to what matters – focusing on DEI collaboration and actual DEI work.
Law departments can use filters, in combination with each graph’s interactive legend, to view firmwide data through their own lens. If a law department doesn’t see their firm, they can request to add them. To get your free account, law departments should contact firstname.lastname@example.org.

Journey towards 2030: an interview with Hilton's director of supplier diversity
Hilton also launched its “Big Five” initiative in Africa last year, with a goal to invest one million dollars to drive sustainable travel and tourism across the continent. As part of this investment, Hilton says it is focusing on local sourcing in the region, specifically on the creation of partnerships to increase local entrepreneurship to deliver high-quality authentic goods and services.
Part of this commitment is also boosting local, small, medium and diverse-owned businesses with a newly improved, best-in-class supplier diversity program, which led to its recent partnership with RLC Diversity. Hilton has already seen rewarding progress towards these goals, with more than 3,000 women-, minority-, veteran-, and LGBT-owned suppliers.
